Designer's Choice Assignment
Weber Legacy
As a grilling fanatic, I decided to choose a grill for my designer's choice assignment! I began by choosing Weber grills as my brand inspiration (I have no affiliation with Weber or any of their products).

Mood Board
I then created a mood board to help me create the theme and aesthetic that I wanted to continue with. I wanted to make a grill that can do more than any other grill on the market. I also wanted to make a grill that has a modern rustic aesthetic and would look well placed in a luxury home.
Grill Ideation
After creating a mood board I began to create ideation sketches to help me decide on the style of grill I would continue on with. I experimented with circular, rectangular, open top, covered, electric, and barbecue style grills. In the end, I ended up going with a patio-style covered grill.

Grill Iteration
I began my iteration process by experimenting with different styles of patio grills. I sketched a standalone grill, a simple grill with cupboards, a larger patio grill with a bonfire, and a grill integrated into the island. I decided to continue on with the integrated grill as I thought it had the most potential to be unique.

Final Render
My final render added the styling and extra features I intended from my ideation slide. I added a granite counter top, wood grated pillars, cabinet storage, a dual propane tank slot and even a refrigerator. My two views were both 3/4 perspective, one with the cabinets and fridge open.

In Context Render
For my in context render I decided to join it to a preexisting outdoor kitchen. I believe that my grill would best be sold as a package with another outdoor appliance such as a sink or oven.
