Makita Impact Wrench
For my studio 2 class final, I was tasked with creating a power tool. As an avid automotive enthusiast, I decided on designing an impact wrench, modeled in Alias and rendered in Keyshot.

I wanted to create an impact wrench that can be useful in every situation, whether its tightening a wood screw or securing an intercooler at a rally stage.

The wrench uses a powerful brushless motor and Makita's 4 speed transmission design, giving the wrench use in many torque applications.

The wrench also has four slots to store extra sockets. This is especially helpful in rally, as most cars are assembled using 10-14mm bolts. This allows the user to bring and store extra sockets, without the need for a toolbox for smaller projects.

The wrench also uses a standard 18V impact battery, giving the users the convenience of any preexisting wrench on the market.
